While I agree with Stewart that the CBS-compilation is the disc to get it has to be said that CBS completely ruined the original masters on this complation. Rhino had a famous compilation out which was done by Bill Inglot: "For the Lonely: 18 Greatest Hits" . Maybe people more in the know about 60's recordings reissues like Billy Spradlin can provide some more info but the incredible recordings from his MONUMENT-period have never been done justice by CBS soundwise. I happen to find that the 1987 re-recordings are inessential but not bad at all, however potential buyers should be warned on the CD- booklet/case etcetera.
