David wrote: Dion would later sign with Cashman & West's Lifesong Records and record a critically lauded but poor selling album, The Return of the Wanderer Michael replies: I love that album. Most listening ears who expect "The Wanderer" or "Runaway Sue" don't care for the album. It has that introspective singer-songwriter sound that so many artists in the mid seventies were cranking out like Paul Simon and his "Still Crazy After All These Years" for instance. The adult contemporary in me is a sucker for Dion's "The Pattern Of My Lifetime", "You've Awakened Something In Me", "Guitar Queen" and "Heart Of Saturday Night". Also on the album he covers Dylan's "Spanish Harlem Incident" and "Do You Believe In Magic" from The Lovin' Spoonful. On another note, I'm getting ready to catch The Go-Go's this Saturday in Vegas. I know I asked this a week or so ago but can anyone recommend any cool music stores? I can assume from no response that Las Vegas doesn't have any store that is worth any praise. Vinyl, used CDs, imports...doesn't matter. I'll have a lot of time to kill as The Go-Go's are the only show I'm planning to attend. We Got The Beat, Michael McCartney KEAO / KPMW / KONI P.S. My last radio show with Richard X. Heyman was so much fun...the fastest six hours I've ever experienced. He picked a lot of cool records to play like "Somethings Just Stick In Your Mind" by The Rolling Stones. now playing: "James" - The Bangles __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
