I disagree with Robert Kok in Holland. Admittedly, Orbison's Monument catalog never has gotten any major TLC audiophile remastering treatment; but it's all breathtaking on CD, regardless. The Rhino comp is definitely the way to go for newbies. Nevertheless, I own everything; even all the rare Columbia Special Products discs, both collections and straight reissues. And the 1990 box set. Got no problems with any of 'em whatsoever. (Of course, the costly Bear Family box is also available, naturally superior sonics there.) BTW, friends, my father Bob actually co-founded Monument in '59 and got Roy signed after his failed RCA singles. Dad's orchestra and chorus is credited on most of the original 45 labels. I got to hear these classic early songs in their 'writing' stages!
