One of the oddest shows I ever saw was at a triple bill at Great Adventure
amusement park. It was the New Rascals with Gene Cornish and a backup band,
Flo and Eddie with a backup band, and The Mamas and the Papas. This was John
Phillips, Scott Mackenzie, Mackenzie Phillips, and Spanky. For some
unfathomable reason, she kept pulling her skirt way up during the show. Must
have been a hot day. Weird. Ray
