Well, day one of my two days with Pernice Bros starts today.  At 
Michael Bennett's semi suggestion, I figure to try and post an 
Audities diary of the shows.  Looking forward to seeing the new band, 
especially the new drummer Patrick, who always impressed me with the 
Bigger Lovers as being the next best thing to Menck.  Tall guys 
behind little drum kits are SO COOL!

I thought I'd give Boston and NYC auditeers a heads up.  King Radio 
(with strings) has worked up a version of Wichita Lineman, and 
although Joe never sang it with the Scuds, he has said he would come 
up and sing it with us.  So come out early, because it should be 
pretty cool.  I'm looking forward to it, anyway.

Of course Joe has been known to change his mind.  I remember opening 
for the Indigo Girls.  They asked us to come up and play "Closer to 
Fine" with them.  He agreed and then we snuck out of the venue during 
their set.
