Not certain if he has anything to do with it, but Tom Kenny (the voice of
SpongeBob) is one of the most (ahem) animated rock and roll frontmen I have
ever seen. When he was starting out as a stand-up comic he also fronted a
couple of Syracuse-area rock bands and will occasionally pop onstage when
back visiting his family (saw him last December doing a set with The
Flashcubes at their annual bash).

I see SpongeBob promotions at local ballparks, and much like Ronald McDonald
and Bozo, you know there's multiple versions appearing simultaneously at
radio promotions, mall openings and other events. I'd love to see
Nickelodeon put Tom on tour to do it right.
