Hi, How about "It Never Rains In California" by Albert Hammond. I'm trying to recall the lyrics, but I think that's the gist of it ("all that talk of opportunity..."). That was a jolly good album, too. I'm remembering some of his other great songs..."Names, Tags, Numbers, Labels", "I'm A Train", and of course the legendary Hollies hit "The Air That I Breathe", which he wrote. He probably has more credits that I've left out. Them's were the days...
