forgive me if this has been attempted before, but I don't recall seeing
it in my years on the list.  Of course, I've also not seem a stop sign
10ft in front of my car before, so that might not be too big a stretch.

Has anyone ever compiled a list of all the musicians on Audities who
have music to sell/tour/etc?

This came to me during my heated exchange with Wendie.  I had no idea
she was a musician/had an album.  As it turned out, I really enjoyed her
music and purchased a copy of her CD.  I'm sure there are a bunch of
others like me who only know a very small fraction of the people on here
who are musicians with albums out.

So I'm willing to undertake the job of compiling a list of any/all
musicians who want to get the word out that "hey, I'm here!  I'm writing
music!  I'd like for you to hear it!!"

Please email me OFF LIST at oddsmusic@comcast.net by August 1st.  I will
compile the list and post it to audities.  Please send me your name,
your band's name and your website or a website where someone can
purchase your music.  If you want to send a 2 or 3 sentence description
of your music, that'd be good too.  I will then post to Audities this
cumulative list every so often (maybe once a quarter?).

This is one way to help promote from within.  Will this blow your album
sales out of the water?  Probably not.  BUT it very well could turn some
fellow auditiers on to your music and you might discover new fans right
under your nose.
