I believe you can still copy these cds in analog fashion.  You need 
to hook up the analog outs of a cd player to the stereo input of your 
computer (this will require a 1/8" stereo to 1/8" stereo cable. 
Then, using software begged bought borrowed or stolen (cool edit is 
one such easy to use program) record the cd into the computer, chop 
the whole shebang into tracks, and then do with it whatever the hell 
you want.   You should also be able to do this with the Mini Disk, 
and it's a whole lot easier.  Instead of using the digital out, just 
use the analog out to the analog in of the Mini Disk.  It's not a 
digital to digital copy, but the loss of one generation would be 
unnoticeable.

Also, you could just go to Kazaa and download .mp3's of all the 
tracks from the record.

I believe, if you bought the original cd, there is nothing wrong with 
making archival copies of it for your own use.
