I remember this song...it got a little airplay in my neck of the woods.  I 
can remember the chorus to this very day.  And it sure sounded like ELO...

Would you believe . . . Kelly Groucutt?

Don't even ask how I ended up at his official website, but the sample
from the lead track of his 1981 solo album, now available on CD, sounds
enough like ELO to be positively intriguing.  It probably doesn't hurt
that Bev, Richard, Mik and Louis Clark were all involved.
