The week I was born, it was Elvis doing Don't Be Cruel and Doris Day singing
(Que Sera Sera) Whatever Will Be Will Be.

...and dinosaurs roamed the Earth.


I was in Tower Records in my home town of Philadelphia, PA and saw a Yep Roc
Records sampler priced at $.99.  Obviously, I had to snatch it up. One good
song would have been worth the $.99, but about 3/4 of the 20 tracks are
winners.  Good stuff from Paul Weller, Caitlin Carry, Cris Stamey, Big Sandy
(a personal fave), The Minus 5, The Bigger Lovers (another personal fave and
a plug for a hometown band), The Mayflies, USA and more!
