I had $30 to spend, and I had my choices narrowed down to a stop watch (I was really into watches then-still am) or those tapes. I asked my mom what I should do, and though my mom pretty much despised rock 'n roll, she said something like "The Beatles music will live on forever, so I think you should buy the tapes". Thank you, Mom! I didn't even own a turntable until the following year. I think the first actual record I bought was McCartney's "Ram" album, but I'm not 100% sure. Funny, I remember my mom asking "Why do you need a turntable? You don't have any records?". Let's just say I changed her mind pretty quickly. :-) -- Pop Rules!!!!! Take Care, David
