First Cassette? Mine was a 4 song sampler tape with songs from the Ventures
"Underground Fire" LP  with a Mayfair tape recorder and some blank tapes
for my
10th birthday present in 1971. Used to tape songs off the Partridge Famly TV
show with it. Now I have something like 50,000 cassettes..
