I remember the first rock records I knew of belonged to Kiss. This was
because I had a Kiss obsessed cousin. The first record I bought was the Paul
Stanley solo album in 1979, I was nine years old.

A year later I discovered The Beatles after seeing a TV commercial for the
Broadway Beatlemania musical. I remember asking my mother about them. She
gave me a more accepting tone then she did for Kiss. She then bought me
Capitol's Beatles Rarities album ,that just came out, for my birthday and I
haven't bought a Kiss record since!!
