Gabe/Jim,

Yes Cub Coda did pass away a few years back.  He had been sickly for awhile 
but kept on playing and touring even after some health problems had laid 
him low(if I recall I think it was both diabetes and heart issues, but I 
could be wrong).  Also, about a year back or so, Cub's wife Lady J, put up 
for auction some of Cub's amazing collection.  Cub was a great historian of 
Rock and I loved reading his columns on rockabilly, old r&b, blues and 
garage.  The man had taste.
