Drew,
 I often find that album playing in my head as well. While I love other
albums of his, that one is still the best. 
 For some reason, while into punk and new wave back in 78, something made me buy
that album, music unheard. I was glad I did. It held a special place in my 
record collection alongside my Elvis, Clash, Ramones, Wayne County and NY Dolls
records. 
 When I hear "going down to laurel" I am instantly sitting in my bedroom in 
Jersey listening to music thru the cheapest little stereo in Monmouth County.
 I didn't get to see him live until years later. A solo acoustic show. He was
a very funny guy telling some great stories inbetween songs. 
 With the forcast for rain all weekend (again) I will have to dig out the CD and 
give it another listen.
