Kinda surprised no one mentioned the New Pornographers's appearance on Letterman the
other night. I thought they got off to a pretty jumbled start, but they pulled it
together and overall it was a fun performance.

I haven't picked up either of the NP cds, but what I've heard on comps, I've liked. In
truth, the name of the group stalls me from buying into this band. Even as a joke, I
just don't want to buy something from people calling themselves "pornographers".

Yes, I know. We could list a hundred great bands with more offensive names, but I guess
it's a blind spot for me.

Still, I kinda dig their music...
