Many thanks to those who contributed to this thread, particularly people like Jeffrey Glenn and David Bash who took the time to post such extensive lists. Some of this music is familiar, but a lot of it is terra incognita for me. The lists in particular may come in handy someday when I have the inclination and the wherewithal to do more than dabble in 60s soft pop. It'll stay back-burner for now, though, because there always seems to be stuff on my to-buy list within my preferred subgenre of power pop. My first inclination will always be for music that packs a certain amount of sonic wallop. But those lists are very helpful, so, again, thanks. Gregory Sager
