when is this ACL fest that you mention, and how much
was the pass?  would it help if i said that i might
show up just to SUPPORT the ban (well: okay, and for a
pork chop at Kreutz's)?  are there several stages
going on at once, or is it just one? part of the
reason i find sxsw so overwhelming and hence not very
enjoyable is that you can't see it all...

This year's fest takes place from September 19-21 at Zilker Park. Passes are 
$65 plus fees ($5 service charge, $2 parks preservation fee, and $5 delivery 
fee, $15 if you're outside th US). There will be more than 1 stage. I know 
that there were a few stages used last year. That's what I heard. I didn't 
attend last year's event as I was moving. Tickets have to be ordered online.

be announced on Thursday June 12th.
