I suggest trying a different brand besides Sony or one of thier "Sport" waterproof models - they look more rugged than the regular models. I used to have one of the first cassette walkmans (bought it in 1983) - it lasted 8 years, later walkmans werent built as tough and didnt last as long. If you have a lot of Mp3s stored on CD-R's I suggest getting a TDK Mojo or RioVolt player - but for some reason my Mojo uses the batteries more when its playing a regular audio CD than playing Mp3s. BTW does anyone have a Car stereo that plays Mp3s? Im curious about buying one the Pioneer units.
