hey everyone!
(for some auditeers, this might look familar from your
personal inboxes, the band STILL needs a gig!)
I've come across a band in need of a place to play
sat. 5/24 somewhere in the Philly, NJ, Maryland, DE
realm.  and a band in need is definitely one I CANNOT
ignore.  They're called the Coal Palace Kings and are
playing in MD Friday night and in Asbury Park, NJ
sunday night.  Yes, I know it's a holiday weekend
(hell, I'M going to be in NJ too visiting the family),
but I couldn't pass up just a simple attempt to help
them out.  I've pasted the originial message from Jeff
who's in the band.  It's from another music digest I
belong to.

anyhow, if any of you can help, I'm sure those guys
would be extremely happy.  they've got that alt
country twang thing going on, which I love just as
much as power pop.  if anyone can help, please do! 
the final 'we just want to play' is what made me want
to help out if I could!

After a last minute change of plans, Coal Palace Kings

fill-in a gig date Memorial Day weekend and we we're

Monster show in
Asbury Park www.twangmonster.net. We're looking for a
gig on SATURDAY,
MAY 24, somewhere in or around Philly, DC, VA.

I've been in touch with the obvious clubs and bars BUT
at this late
date we're just wondering if any P2 bands out there
need some support
for a night? An opening act? OR does anybody know of
any bands working
in the area on May 24 that you can turn us on to?
