oh my gracious! how could i forget the video that
started me on a lifelong lust of David Bowie...the
portrait of a young superfox in "Look Back in Anger." 
Didn't need to make any sense or be pretty - he was
pretty enough, and i loved that song, and i would WAIT
and WAIT and WAIT for that video to come on.  Mmm.

"Ashes to Ashes" was also cool, but the Modern
Love/China Girl ones were sort of lame.

Totally loved the Dan Hartman video for "I Can Dream
About You," too - man, this thread is surely bringing
on an attack of old music nostalgia.
