"99 Red Balloons" by Nena - the German version of this tune was charming to me.

and fun videos to match!

I *think* there was a video for the tune "19" by Paul Hardcastle, which as 
I recall, was the first time I really thought about things like war. I 
don't recalling loving the tune, but the video had a profound impact on me.
