Here are 5 reasons why it's my favorite show on Commercial Televison

1 The song selection throughout the show is perfect From Baby Elephant Walk 
at a party for the parents 
or Needles and Pins playing on a radio    
the song choices always seem right on 

2. I really like the way the Bandstand Scenes are 
re created  
 It's a nice effect to go from the original black and white broadcast to the 
enactment on the show. 
The way this was utilized in the Beatle invasion show   was very effective 
3.  It really shows how music could be a bridge for the races to get along
in stark contrast to the tension of the times
4 Any TV Show playing actual Zombies, Animals, kinks Dylan. Regardless who's 
"Acting like them" gets my vote
5 Very Cool Power Pop Theme Song IMO
