I've been trying to track down that album; supposedly a Lindsey solo album completed in '94, never released, available as a boot. I think there are songs on Tango that he took whole from what ended up being an aborted solo record and did nothing new to them-- I don't think any members of F-Mac besides him are on "Big Love", "Tango In the Night", or "You and I", although I may be wrong. Those "love grunts" (as David Letterman called them at the time) that sound like a woman on "Big Love" are obviously Lindsey, as anyone who immersed themself in Go Insane will readily attest. > Alas, the best thing about the record --- Christine's gone, so we get more > Lindsey --- is also the worst thing about the record --- no Christine. Think of "EVerwyhere" off Tango, a classic Christine F-Mac tune in every way, loping John McVie bass-- then at the end Lindsey tacks on this "hearoes & Villians" coda. Rumor mill has Sheryl Crow taking her place on the tour. But it is a tour of stadia, so I will probably pass (but buy the DVD.) > Did you buy the one with the extra record (a quirky cover of Love Minus Zero > - No Limit, and alternate takes)? Naturally.
