The Railway Club actually holds a fair bit of people but is divided 
into two main rooms
connected by a long narrow bar/passageway. The main room holds about 
100-200 people
and that is where you want to be. The back room is for people who 
just want to drink and hang out.
The bar area is for people who don't know what they want.

Cover charge night of the show but if you get there before 8pm, there 
is no cover and no one
will ask you for money (plus you get primo seats).
You can wander in at soundcheck (6pm) and probably meet the band...
the club is open from noon onwards for lunch... so you could sit 
there all day getting shit-faced
if you wanted to (excellent bar food)... the street it's on has two 
great record stores (A&B Sound plus
Noize Records so you could spend all day there.... around the corner 
on Richards St are two great old
book stores....)... lots to do as the club is downtown...

I doubt it will be sold-out but I could be wrong... (Vancouver has 
finicky tastes)
