<> No foolin'! Last time I saw Mitch Ryder it was downright near pathetic ... it was the night the last episode of Cheers went down ... 92 ..? Anyway ... ... he played w/a sub-standard/pick-up Long Island bar band in a crummy disco w/a makeshift stage a few towns south of me ... Shirley, L.I. It was pretty laughable. He did all the hits but there wasn't anything "happening" really. A few years or so prior tho! Early 90. We saw him out @ the Steven Talkhouse and in Manhattan at the old Lone Star Roadhouse. Unreal, these two shows! He had Robert Gillespe on but one of his dual screamin' lead guitars < http://www.motorcityjams.com/gillespie.html > and Johnny' The Bee' Badanjak on traps and it was like being transported back to Detroit circa 1969 or some Radio Birdman show circa whenever ... awesome shows. According to that link up there Mitch and Robert recently toured Europe as some form of Detroit Wheels or something. I saw Robert w/Scott Morgan's Powertrane last year and ...yes ... we had levitation! m NP - The Creation - Power Surge ===== Sleep Well ~ Don't Burst http://www.mitchworldusa.net/ __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
