My wife and I have more or the less the same musical taste as well. Like me, she's a big fan of REM and the Church. And throughout our courtship, I was able to turn her on to some of my other faves (dB's, Let's Active, the bands that occupy the Audities universe, etc.). She now also plays bass in my band after picking it up two years ago and essentially teaching herself -- with a little help from me.
