I just wanted to say a few things about people promoting their wares on this
list...   

When it comes to promoting stuff on the Audities, I'm here as a fan and an
artist.  I'm interested in what others here have to peddle because many of
the artists on this list are of like mind musically.  From my point of view,
being a musician on this list, it's always been kind of difficult for me to
promote my shows, cd's etc. anywhere as I tend to be on the reserved side.
I'd rather just make the music.  Although I'd rather have a promoter,
manager or someone else do this, it usually falls on my shoulders since I'm
just a small indie artist with no major backing.   Audities folks have been
GREAT to Chewy Marble and I've always felt comfortable posting when we're
releasing a new cd or having a (rare) show.

I want to hear from Tallboy, Mark Bacino and David Grahame because this is
what I expect and want.  I've gotten emails from other bands promoting shows
not even in my state, but it's really no big deal to delete it. Takes a
second.  I understand all the work that goes into putting on a show or
making a cd and the folks on this list who make music, by and large, just
want you to share in their excitement. No one wants to SPAM you or annoy
you.  If we did, we'd say we were from some African country asking for your
bank routing number, etc....:)  Just a few thoughts...
