p.s. don't mean to sound snippy - but Gabe, you're not saying much here.
Since both of those folks are pretty beloved in the soundtrack of my mind -
your comments beg the questions.

n.p. The Effection - Soundtrack to a Moment (all i have is a copy my friend
burned me, but this is pure power pop bliss - what little details I can find
are at http://www.adelinerecords.net/fs_b17b.html , David Bash - have you
heard this - I think your boat will do more than float!!)  I don't think
it's released yet - but it's pretty marvelous. The buzz on it so far seems
to be more through Punk zines, maybe it's a personnel issue and yeah,
there's a bit of that snottiness. Pop fans, check it out.

p.p.s - other folks faves for the year so far?  I know other stuff is
looming much larger but let's start talking about music again. Don't fear
the buzz backlash, play on through!
