I saw him open for ben kweller late last fall and the
show was incredible.  it was an all ages show, so
there was a lot of excitement from the kids in the
crowd, who surprisingly were courteous music fans and
got into benson's set despite not knowing his music
that well.  he showed his appreciation more than once,
by acknowledging that on the mic.  maybe that was a
good night for him, who knows?!
