Five years after announcing their break-up, Canadian pop-rock band Super 
Friendz (Matt Murphy, Charles Austin, Drew Yamada and Dave Marsh) have 
reunited and recorded a new CD tentatively titled "Love Energy".  The CD 
is scheduled to be released in Canada this July. Super Friendz were part 
of the original Halifax pop explosion that included bands such as Sloan, 
Cool Blue Halo, Jale, Thrush Hermit, etc.  Murphy says that his most 
recent band, The Flashing Lights, is officially on hiatus.
