I'm announcing the dates for my Spring 2003 "Adam Marsland Was Here" Tour.  
This will be my most extensive tour ever, including my first trips to Georgia 
and Florida.  I still have several openings in my calendar...I plan to add 
about 15 shows to this schedule...and am awaiting confirmation of gigs in 
Boston, Columbus, Knoxville, Portland, San Francisco and several other 
places.  If anyone's interested in setting something up, please let me know.

This year I'm gearing up for the release of a very cool new studio record 
under my own name in October.  For the first time since the Big Deal days 
(and even then), there is going to be coordinated indie radio promotion, 
publicity and advertising.  As a preliminary, we will be doing our first 
college radio campaign since 1996 for the 232 DAYS ON THE ROAD CD in 
conjunction with the tour.  This is all going on while recording of the new 
CD is proceeding at a rapid pace.

This is a pretty big undertaking for a DIY operation, in fact outside of Ani 
DiFranco I've not heard of anyone doing it.  It's a big roll of the dice and 
while I'm in no danger of going under, there's a lot of money being invested 
right now and not much coming in, so if anyone had been thinking about 
picking up a copy of the live CD or Cockeyed Ghost's LUDLOW 6:18, this would 
be an awesome time to do it.  They can be ordered at www.cockeyedghost.com,

them in stock, as do Tower and Amazon.  I am also going to have "ADAM 
MARSLAND WAS HERE" bumperstickers up for sale in just a few days.

I've gotten a lot of e-mails from bands as well about the buying Karma Frog's 
college radio database, which is comprehensive and completely updated, and 
about the offer to distribute selected bands' CDs on the road.  Everyone 
should keep in mind that I'm leaving town on April 9th and if they want to 
get in on either offer they should plan to act before that.

Outside of that, I hope if you're in the area, you'll come down and bring a 
few friends.  If you don't like my music that's fine, but if you do, 
remember, if you really want to fight the Man, support the warriors.  Many of 
you have done so and I thank you profusely.  You're making this all possible.
