Help me out here....

I was listening to a 60's comp at the weekend called "Nuggets from the
Golden State - The Autumn Sound" (American garage/psych bands on Big Beat
label in the UK).  There's a great song on it called "Just Me" by a band
called The Us (or is it The U.S. ??).  Anyway, the liner notes have a
picture of the band and a wee bit of history on them.  The lead singer was
a guy called Bob Segarini (cool looking dude with shades).  Could this be
the same man who posts here?  Or a relative?  Please tell.

The band also had a guy called Vash Hammell (bass player I think) who, in
the picture, resembled a WW2 German tank commander.  Whatever happened to
him (and the rest of the band) ??
