After KISS made it popular in the 70's (and Im sure Gene/Paul will have something to say something about this) every metal band HAD to use Pyro.I saw a local metal show back in the early 90's in a old theatre where the band tried to blow up the stage and caught the stage curtain on fire. Luckily somebody backstage grabbed a fire extinguisher and got it out quick so the show went on. If you look carefully at the video (http://www.msnbc.com but I suggest seeing it on cable) the club's ceiling tile looked like it been painted black with a paint that was highly flammable - or was very old. What really galls me is Great White used way too much in such a tiny place with enough fireworks for a arena show. Cant say if the band knew about this or not - but it looked like such a low budget show, the members could have participated in the stage set-up and thought they could get away with it. At least they didn't kick off their show with "Baby's On Fire" (sorry - couldn't resist!)
