guitar for close to 40 years, and was the lead guitarist in Paul McCartney's
band, Wings, winning a "Best Rock Instrumental" Grammy for the song,
"Rockestra". However, Laurence, best known to his fans as "LJ", has since
established himself as an artist in his own right, and has recently extended
his catalog to TEN acoustic guitar instrumental CD's, all featuring his
unique fingerstyle technique and extensive use of alternate tunings. He is
also a first call acoustic guitar player in the LA studio scene.

Laurence has also released a solo acoustic guitar album called Altered
Reality, part of the "Masters of Acoustic Guitar" series released by Narada
Records. His previous release, Mosaic, was recorded at Hollywood's legendary
Capitol Studios. That recording showcases his playing on acoustic and
electric guitar in a variety of trio, duo, and solo settings. Additionally,
a recording of the solo composition, "Liquid Amber", is featured on the
Windham Hill CD, Sounds of Wood and Steel.
