> > Has anyone come up with a really good filesharing > app for the Mac? speaking of techie stuff that i don't have the vocabulary for, i was burning a live cd that had just one 80:00:03 minute track on a Mac through Toast/Firewire and was told by a friendly yet intractable pop-up window that my 80 minute cd didn't have enough space to proceed. This kind of stymied me - I was going to try to run the whole cd into Spark and try to track the cd, so as to cut out the last 00:00:03 seconds and THEN transfer it to Toast, but damned if I could get the cd player to run through the Mackie board - needless to say, this is not my equipment I was screwing around with. Plus which, if it were my equipment, I'm quite sure I wouldn't have the Mackie board in the first place, so surely there's a way to get around the overlong data pop-up window and just get as much of it as i can? Surely? Or am i just being a tape-taper in a cd-burning world? help out a technically-challanged pop-lover, kind souls. Thankee. --kelly np: some godawful smooth jazz compilation from Verve called "the best smooth jazz EVER," which may well be true but that ain't saying much. Was George Benson always this...gross? ===== oderint dum mentuant __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo!
