That's a good tip. I liked the songs I heard on their site. Great guitar sound (even in MP3) and mix of heavy guitar and female vox. Reminds me a bit of Letters to Cleo (whom I loved). RCA has three records coming out next month that I might actually look into. This surprises me. They don't release a lot of stuff I like. They must have raided the Boston area, because they also have a new record from Cave-In who are also from that area, I'm pretty sure. The one MP3 they have on their website for the new album sounds a lot like "Frosting on the Beater" era Posies," and is much fuller and richer sounding than their earlier efforts on Hydra Head. The producer/engineer/mixer is listed as Rich Costey. Does anyone know anything about him? The other band on RCA is Longwave, but that's more of an '80s thing that probably had something to do with the Strokes. Carl np - electronica composer demos
