McCartney was kind of bitter about it, though. Speaking of young Rufus and old songs, a CD called "Stormy Weather: The Music of Harold Arlen" came out last Tuesday, with performances by such song stylists as Wainwright, Marc Anthony Thompson (Chocolate Genius), Mary Margaret O'Hara, Hawksley Workman and Jimmy Scott. Haven't heard a note of it yet, but it's on my "2003 releases to buy immediately" list along with the new Nick Cave and, um, I'm sure other stuff later. Tangent: Man, I hope I do a better job buying CDs this year than I did last year. I tried to do my research, I really did, and yet well over half of the 2002 releases I bought got traded back in. And there are quite a few more that I'm hanging onto for only one or two tracks. Back in the days when I could check stuff out first using Napster, I bought just as much music but I loved every single album... I think I'm spoiled now. Has anyone come up with a really good filesharing app for the Mac? The ones I've tried since have been useless, and I kinda gave up. E
