Two that jump to mind immediately:

From Rundgren's "A Wizard, A True Star"....during the "Medley"/within the 
song "Ooh, Ooh, Baby, Baby", the channel/vocals drops out just as Todd sings 
"*mistakes*, I know I've made a few"...

Also...on "Torch Song" from "Something/Anything?", Rundgren's voice breaks 
when he sings "how *so* ever sadly, I will torch on for you"

Oh yeah, and *anything* by Bob Seger.
