    I really enjoyed the off topic "Top 5 lists". But then again, I rarely
met a tangent I didn't like.  ; )
  I have a theory on our response...
"Member's glee post losing the popserver dweebs".  Well, OK, I'll speak for
myself in that those knobs were taking the fun away for a while and so I
kind of enjoyed our recent free for all.  I can't recall our previously
sustaining an off topic vibe for so long.   All this said, I appreciate the
balance that your trying to maintain given differences of what people want
out of this list.
