I grew up on American bandstand, so these shindig episodes are a revelation for me. 

Especially watching the Righteous Brothers, as a friend of mine really loves them and now I can see why. I don’t know if any duo of any sort of music has such two different vocalist and it sounds great.

And thanks for explaining about the lip-synching, because I was watching it and saying this is too good to be lip-synching. Yet it didn’t not appear to me that it was lip-synching.  

It does make me wonder how many times somebody flubbed something, and they had a record it again.
