Yup you're correct. Sorry about that, I mixed those 2 guys up. Hundreds upon hundreds of gigs and lots of interactions with fellow musicians.
BTW Wally Palmer is now in a great high energy power pop band called the Empty Hearts, sort of a supergroup with drummer Clem Burke and Elliott Easton of the Cars. Check 'em out.

Btw, I found this youtube video of an 1980 performance in Holland, where
obviously the crowd had no idea who the band were and what they were
singing about.
