In 1978 I recorded this cover tune with my band, The Scientific Americans, as the opening track on our 5 song vinyl EP - Beyond Rational Thought - on our label, Tekno-Tunes. I wrote irate letters to Hanna-Barbers urging them to sue the band for defamation & plagiarism. They never responded. I wanted the publicity. One of my many pop failures.
years later, someone took the track and synced it to the original cartoon. I am not worthy.
