A fairly recent release I've been digging lately is the new one by Aloud. Very good, energetic, mixes elements of rock, pop, soul, a lot of influences adding up to something pretty great!

I think an online SOTT was attempted on Facebook, but I'm not sure how it went. With Spotify playlists, they are cool, but is not quite the same as having a physical artifact handcrafted by someone from across the world! But if you want to check out some of my playlists feel free!! Here's my best of 2020 for you https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3jnPEo41jXNcoGSfzr4iVh?si=g3Ouo9lAQomMmHd5rujORg

I don’t do Facebook at all, so I’ve obviously only gotten snippets of Audities comms when there have been the occasional emails from a handful of members. In the few years after I signed on and it was still just operated as a list, I can’t begin to properly describe the amazing impact it had on my knowledge and appreciation of the incredible music of this type that existed and continues to be made in so many low visibility corners of the music world. I remember to this day getting turned on to Sugarbomb’s fantastically underappreciated LP, “Bully" by Rick—still one of my favorites of all time. And my music collection is chock full of the things that came in those little boxes of ecstasy that would arrive during one of the several SOTT rounds I participated in. Does anyone still do those?
