Hi everybody
I just read that SUN PK has died in 2016. He has released a fine Softpop
album called in "Inquire Within" in 2000. I interviewed him and visited him
later on in New York. He was a fine guy. Then I lost contact which is really
sad. I should have called him up or mail him.
Here is what I found on the internet:
SUN PK
Sun PK, 63, who was also known as Peter Kwaloff, of Walden, N.Y., formerly
of Montclair, died at Westchester Medical Center on Aug. 15 after a long
illness.
He was born Feb. 8, 1953, the son of Boris and Judy Kwaloff of Montclair.
Sun graduated from The School of Visual Arts in Manhattan in the 1970s.
He was a frequent performer at Manhattan's Club 57, The Pyramid Club, and
The Roxy. Sun worked for designer Thomas Jayne, Broadway's "Beauty and the
Beast," and, at the time of his death, was employed at Lowe's Home
Improvement.
Sun composed jingles for Nickelodeon and produced albums "100th Monkey" and
"Inquire Within." In addition, he produced CD compilations of obscure pop
music.
He was predeceased by his mother, Judy, and his brother, Michael.
Sun is survived by his father, Boris; his cats, Middle, Chester, Windy,
Campbell and Maddi; and many friends and cousins.
A private celebration of his life is being planned by family and friends.
Best
Robert
