 The Gripweeds have been so good for so long, it's ridiculous.  My friend Chris Breetveld (who played drums on my second solo record) was their bass player just before they hit the studio for their first formal releases.
He's someone you should also check out... he records as "The Breetles"

First EP is a little more Americana leaning, but solid. I've heard two 
tracks off the new one and it leans more towards the Auditeer side of
