I do hope to catch Dan Baird before one of us meets our maker. Leaving Raleigh NC for Silicon Valley in 78 was both a godsend music wise (almost everyone plays the Bay Area) and a curse as southern music took off big time ~1980.

At least I've seen/heard Mr Prophet a number of times, even twice right here in San Jose. Tho not in a while.
