Wow, it's old home week on Audities! Heard this yesterday via a FB post by another Audities old-timer Drew MacDonald. My comment: "Why not Tears for Kirsty?" Thanks Mark for starting the covers thread, and Michael M, Paulo, Joey, Robert, Bill, Rick & Daniel for making it live.
Cry Me a River takes me back to May 1970, when an about to graduate high schooler saw the Mad Dogs & Englishman outdoors in Chapel Hill, NC. Tho Cocker was the nominal lead, Leon Russell became my musical hero for a few years.
- Michael
PS: "You won't believe what happens next!"- heh.
NP: Kate Pierson - Guitars and Microphones. My favorite lp from 2015 and over a year later still in regular rotation.
