"All American Boy" and the vastly underrated "Guitars and Women" are still favorites from my childhood ....

Depends upon the artist. I can appreciate Tonio K on multiple levels -
his songs read as relationship songs as much as they do spiritual pleas.
But he's a first class songwriter.
Rick Derringer re-purposing his rock catalog as Jesus anthems...not so
much. :)
